Apostle Joseph Hellon, known for his spiritual teachings, found himself in an altercation with a fan who criticised his social media activities, accusing him of prioritising likes over preaching.

Why was Hellon furious?

The disgruntled follower urged the apostle to preach the word of God without seeking social media approval through likes, further pointing out that he could do better.

Responding to the follower in the comment section of his post, Hellon called him out and used heavy jargon to express his anger and disapproval of the opinion.

"You can do better than just good old pleasantries, preach the words of God without seeking cheap likes," wrote the fan identified as Joe Githiaka.

This seemingly innocuous remark triggered an unexpected response from the apostle.

Hellon, not one to shy away from linguistic prowess, retorted with a barrage of complex jargon, stating.

"Collaterally tributary, indigent and taped out skint! A gaudy and meretricious chintzy. Take your noisome partipris to your tottering family repository. Nullius Filius."

The inclusion of the Latin phrase nullius filius, translating to illegitimate child, added a dramatic twist to the exchange, infusing a traditional touch to the modern clash.

"Some barmy, balmy, batty, dotty, loony, and loopy buttinsky thought that we're here for likes instead of the gospel!" Hellon captioned a screenshot of the verbal sparring.
"I spoke to him in English! Here's his pathos and my confutation!" he added.

Joe was not the only victim of Hellon's jargon outburst; another follower, Winnie Mwende, who questioned his apostolic, was also called out.

Netizens react to Hellon's outburst

Winnie Mwende wrote:

"Carnality being displayed by people calling themselves apostles! I look for God in any apostle’s life and if I don’t find his traits in him, then woe unto his followers! Where is the humility of Christ? Where is the love of Christ? Where is the Holy Spirit? I see bitterness, anger, self centeredness and flesh ruled character! May God help us! Whom are they serving? Certainly not the God of the Bible who is so loving and merciful! I cannot afford to Allow the devil hold me in such pathetic situation because I’m a ruler and that includes ruling over my ego! I keep my body under.1 Corinthians 9:27"

Hellon calls out married women wearing deras to bedroom

In a previous report, Hellon stirred up a storm by addressing married women's choice of attire in the bedroom.

Hellon argued if the married women were to put on deras, they had to know how to wrap it around themselves to entice their husbands.

The apostle made these remarks in a post on his Facebook, further pointing out that how women dress themselves in deras in the house could kill their marriages.

"As a married woman, wearing a dera in your bedroom is the hallmark of stupidity!," he cautioned.
