According to the mother of two, it all began when her man was invited to the former friend's house, where they got drunk and eventually became romantically involved.
It was a devastating blow for the woman, who not only lost her husband but also saw her closest confidante betray her trust.
"I got so hurt and depressed, but I decided she would never have peace with my man," the woman said painfully.
Refused to succumb to despair
She was determined to maintain a connection between her children and their father, so she initiated a co-parenting arrangement.
Not only does he visit the children regularly, but he also spends considerable time at her house having romantic moments.
"He stays with me a lot, and the opposition side is beginning to hate it, and I love seeing her in pain," she continued.
Despite the opposition's hatred towards her unconventional arrangement, she has made it a point to stand firm in her pursuit of happiness.
Wants her man back
The woman clarified that she is not seeking to become a second wife but desires the return of the man she vowed to spend her life with.
She insists that her fight is not born out of desperation but a genuine desire for her family to be restored to where it was before.
"My kids not only need their father, but I need a husband too, and there is nothing wrong with that," she emphasised.
She emphasized the importance of forgiveness for her sanity and advised other women to always fight for what they own.
Married man tells Clande he's single
Elsewhere, a young Nairobi woman is in tears after discovering that the man she's been married to for four years is single.
The wife stumbled on a WhatsApp chat between the father of her kids and a woman she believes is his mpango wa kando.
In the conversation, the paramour told the man he looked like someone married, something he vehemently denied.
