Elgeyo Marakwet: Keiyo South Member of Parliament Gideon Kimaiyo has gifted staff of the year with a brand new car as a token of gratitude and appreciation during the end-of-year party.
Zenge Patrick Chesire, his personal assistant from Soy North Ward, was rewarded with the keys to a new car, which symbolised Kimaiyo's gratitude for his hard work and commitment.
"The climax of the day was rewarding the staff of the year. Zenge (Patrick Chesire), a personal assistant from Soy North Ward, walked away with a brand new car. We promise to work harder in 2024 for the success of Keiyo South," he said.

The lawmaker hosted the event at Kaptagat Girls High School on Friday, December 29, where all employees and their families graced the party.
Who were the guests at the event?
Bishop Jackson Kosgei graced the event as the guest speaker, Elgeyo Marakwet county woman representative Caroline Ngelechei, and county assembly members.
Also present were Kimaiyo's manager, assistant manager, office secretary, ground representatives from all 138 polling stations, personal assistants from all six wards and their assistants, drivers, CDF committee members and staff, Uwezo Fund committee members, and Constituency Roads Committee members.
Kimaiyo promises to reward best-performing chief
In July, the legislator promised to reward the best chief with a brand-new Toyota Probox for emerging best in fighting alcoholism, school absenteeism, and teenage pregnancies, among other vices.
“The officer to be rewarded with a brand-new Toyota Probox car is the one that will emerge the best in assisting us to fight alcoholism, school absenteeism, and teenage pregnancies, among other social vices,” said Kimaiyo.
The youthful lawmaker was reacting to the agreed-upon deliberations following his consultative engagement with all the security officers in the constituency.
