An unidentified lady has come out to share her horrifying experience at the hands of alleged killer John Matara.
Who is John Matara?

Speaking to Citizen TV, the lady narrated how her date with Matara, whom she met on an online dating site in May 2023, turned ugly.
"He was talking like a Black American. He insisted he send an Uber I go to his place, but I declined the invite I told him we were strangers and I couldn't go to his house at night," she narrated.

After begging her several times and she refused, he then asked if she was alone at her house and he went there.
The lady said that upon arriving, he asked her where to get bhang and while having a chat, he ordered her to keep her phone away.
"He told me to put the phone on silent so that calls wouldn't interrupt our conversation," she continued.
She said he demanded attention, but hell broke loose at around 8:30pm and strangled her without any reason.
"He hit me in the eye three times," she recalled.
The lady said he undressed her, chained her on the bed, sexually assaulted her and rained blows on her, demanding cash.
"He had three knives and threatened to kill me," she said.
She claimed Matara transferred more than KSh 18,000 from her savings account to his phone, stole her passport and ID, and then stopped beating her before fleecing.
"He started calling me babe while at the door so as to fool my neighbours."
She said the horrifying ordeal went on for around six hours before he left at 2:30am.
She was rescued by her neighbours, who took her to Kahawa Police Station to record a statement before being taken to hospital.
Seven months later, without justice, the lady was glad the long arm of the law had caught up with Matara. The alleged tourer is currently in police custody as investigations are underway.
Two women have already recorded statements, and more are expected to record statements.
Starlet Wahu's best friend mourns her
Wahu's best friend, Soila, shared photos and videos from their vacations and partying lifestyle, reminiscing about the great time they spent together.
"My forever third wheeler, to everywhere I went," she captioned one of the videos of Wahu driving her in her flashy car.
The mother of one penned emotional messages to Wahu, describing her as a great friend.
"I don't know what I will do without you. You are my favourite person on the planet," she captioned another video.
In another video, the two socialites were partying and popping bottles as they jammed to their favourite tunes at a popular city club.
"2018-2024 I loved you the same," she said.
