It all began when her 10-year-old son started misbehaving and being awful to his younger brother.
In a moment of frustration, she expressed her distress to her husband regarding the youngster's naughtiness.
"I went into the kitchen and told my husband: "You deal with him. I hate that child sometimes,"' she narrated.
Son overheard mother's sentiments
Unfortunately, her son was behind her and overheard her say the hurtful words, leaving her overwhelmed with remorse.
The mother immediately apologised to her son, emphasising that she did not mean to convey hatred towards him but was expressing frustration with his behaviour.
She acknowledged her wrong choice of words and assured her son of her unconditional love, but the guilt has been eating her since.
The woman revealed that the ordeal had deeply affected her to the point where she found it difficult to sleep.
"I know I'm the worst mother in the world and expect to be told so," she concluded.
