Christmas has come early for elderly women after a group of well-wishers from the Catholic Church gave them goodies and makeovers ahead of the big day.
On Tuesday, December 19, the senior citizens had the time of their lives after the well-wishers started by giving them hair makeovers, giving them the much-needed Christmas glow.
How were the elderly treated in Naivasha?
In a video shared by Inooro TV, the elderly women vehemently thanked the well-wishers, saying the make-overs had particularly lifted their spirits ahead of Christmas Day.

"The elderly men have all received a haircut, while for us, the women, we have received hair makeovers. I already feel so young despite being 74 years old. I feel so happy," one of the women said.
"I know I am old but today I feel really rejuvanated. May God bless the Father and the well-wishers who came today," an elderly man said.
Besides, the hair makeovers, the seniors were also treated to melodious tunes, which got them dancing.
The clerics from the Catholic Church also urged the community and government at large to help and remember the elderly and intervene in some of the issues they face.
"Many of them are going through serious challenges especially while trying to access their money sent by the government. Some of their caregivers are the ones benefitting from the cash, so an urgent intervention is really necessary," the cleric said.

As the festive season sweeps across Kenya, a wave of excitement has also engulfed shoppers with the discovery of budget-friendly shopping destinations for clothes and Christmas decorations.
Shoppers have used TikTok to address other shoppers and advise other Kenyans on the best places to find cheap and lovely products.
A Kenyan lady posted a video on TikTok highlighting affordable Christmas decorations going for as low as KSh 70.
Kenyans reacting to the video were amused by the affordability, asking for the location of the shopping mall and saying they would visit the place as soon as possible.
