Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, better known as Riggy G to the public, surprised everyone with a casual commute aboard a matatu.

Joined by Sports and Youth Affairs Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba, Riggy G hopped on the public transport and readily engaged in a lighthearted chat with NRG Radio journalists.

He proudly declared his love for reggae music, confessing his affinity for both the iconic Bob Marley and the British band UB40.

"I'm a big fan of UB40 and a huge Bob Marley fan," Riggy G confessed, his enthusiasm evident. "I love his music."

When playfully challenged to belt out a Marley tune, the Deputy President humbly admitted his vocal limitations:

"Singing isn't my forte, but I'm a dancing machine! My sound's down, you know."

The conversation continued in this jovial vein, with Riggy G extending an invitation for a more in-depth chat at another time.

He then exited the matatu with Ababu.
