Taking to social media, Gachagua expressed his happiness for Mwangi's wife, Wanjiku, for successfully delivering triplets.
"Children are a bundle of blessings and a precious gift from God. Today, with my spouse, Pastor Dorcas, we celebrated the gift of triplets to Kennedy Mwangi and his wife Wanjiku, our neighbours in Nyeri County," Gachagua said on X.
What Gachagua gifted the family
Gachagua shared the photos of the triplets and disclosed that Mwangi was one of his staff.
"It was a pleasure spending time with the young family of Mwangi, who is one of my staff. May the young parents be blessed more as they raise the children in family and societal values for the glory of God," he added.
Gachagua regrets having two children
Meanwhile, the deputy president recently opened up about one of his regrets in life.
During an interview with Inooro FM on Friday, October 7, the DP disclosed that he was deceived into having two children.
The second-in-command said that it was a problem that spread across his generation and that they borrowed most of their practices from Kenya's colonial masters.
He disclosed that he came from a family of nine children, explaining that his parents ensured they all went to school despite being uneducated.
"I was deceived by the white man only to get two children. It's the stupidity of that era because we were still naive and believed everything the white man said... We were nine in our family, and despite our parents being uneducated, they took us to school," said Gachagua.
He encouraged Mt Kenya residents to have more children, arguing that God would provide for them.
