Samidoh Hits Back At Critics Over His HSC Award From William Ruto: "Wivu Itakuua"

• Samidoh Muchoki had earlier shared he was among the Kenyans who were awarded the Head of State Commendation (HSC) during Jamhuri Day celebrations
• However, some people poked holes on his award and questioned what notable thing he had done to warrant the award
• He shut down critics while telling them to stop being jealous as it will finish him after many criticised him

Mugithi singer Samidoh Muchoki was among the Kenyans who were awarded the Head of State Commendation (HSC) recognition by President William Ruto during the Jamhuri Day celebrations.

The singer took to his social media page to share the good news with a screenshot of names of others awarded the same award.

He accompanied the screenshot with a lengthy post thanking his fans and the president for the recognition.

Part of the post read:

"As a just an ambitious village boy, I never imagined that life would take me on such an extraordinary path. Every step of the way has been a testament to the power of dreams, hard work and the unwavering support of my loved ones and you, my fans. I firmly believe that success is a collective effort and I am forever grateful for the favour, love and support from God and from people that surround me."

Why Samidoh is blasting unimpressed netizens

However, Kenyans condemned him for the award, as some asked what noticeable thing he had done to be awarded an HSC.

Some even attributed the award to his baby mama Karen Nyamu, saying she was the reason he was getting political mileage.

But Samidoh hit back at fans who were 'jealous' of his feat, urging them to stay happy or get off his page.

One social media user with the handle @aspirefikenya wrote:

"What value have you contributed to the country? This was a pure PR."

Samidoh then hit back, saying:

"Me or you? Write your story too wivu itakuua mama."

There were some who also asked him to appreciate Karen because she was the reason she was getting good tidings from the current regime.

Samidoh goes back to following Edday Nderitu

Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported Samidoh and his wife, Edday Nderitu, unfollowed each other on Instagram months ago, right after she moved to the United States.

The musician and Nyamu also unfollowed each other right before he launched his foundation but the nominated senator acknowledged they had issues like any other normal couple.

However, the musician has gone back to following his estranged wife on Instagram. Fans are wondering whether Samidoh will win back Edday's heart.
