Nairobi - A Toyota Prado driver escaped death by a whisker after his vehicle was hit by a heavy truck at a spot along the Southern Bypass.
Miracle on Southern Bypass
An undated clip published on social media showed him alienating himself from the onlookers at a nearby wall where he knelt and raised his hands to embark on a prayer solitude.
He was presumably thanking the Supreme Being whom he believes, perhaps after observing that it would be in an ideal situation that a human survives such an accident.

The accident came months after the government sanctioned various measures to mitigate the spate of fatal accidents witnessed along the Southern Bypass.
Irregular bumps had been installed on the road as it undergoes maintenance.
A fatal accident reportedly caused by the bumps was reported on October 4; three people died on the spot.
Another crash had occurred the previous evening, killing one person of Asian descent.
The bumps ignited an uproar on social media, prompting Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen to visit the scene.
What interventions did Murkomen come up with?
The CS announced a raft of measures sanctioned by the state to reduce the accidents.
"I have received complaints from the public concerning the safety of the Southern Bypass in Nairobi County, where road maintenance occurs. As a regular user of the road, I have also had the opportunity to observe the ongoing repair works," he said.
He announced that signage would be installed to notify motorists of the ongoing works on the road.
Further, police officers would be deployed to man the black spots and enforce the measures besides streamlining traffic snarl-ups that occasionally build up as the contractor carries on with his work.
"Police have also been stationed near the construction sites to prevent motorists from speeding beyond the stipulated 50KPH limit," said Murkomen.
While acknowledging the essence of the ongoing repair works on the road, Murkomen called on all road users to cooperate by observing the said measures.
