Busia - Vanessa Ogema, the young woman filmed harassing health workers at Por Victoria Sub-county hospital, was charged in court on Monday, January 8.
She denied the four counts, including the destruction of property, creating a disturbance in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace, and blocking a public official from performing duties.
Vanessa, who appeared before Port Victoria Senior Principal Magistrate Anne Kerimi, was granted a KSh 200,000 bond.

Why Vanessa Ogema was further detained
She was later detained at Korinda Prison for being unable to pay the bill.
TUKO.co.ke understands that the prosecution side has also called for more time to investigate the nature of the case further.
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that the Nairobi Women's Hospital College confirmed that the woman who harassed nurses at Port Victoria Sub-county Referral Hospital is their student pursuing Theatre Technology.
The college condemned her actions, stating that they do not align with the institution's values and standards.
"It has come to our attention that Vanessa Ogema, a student enrolled in the Theatre Technology programme and awaiting graduation, was reported to have disrupted and harassed medical staff at a hospital in Busia county," read their statement in part.
"We strongly condemn the regrettable actions displayed by Ms. Vanessa. These actions do not align with our values and standards as the NWHC. As an organisation, we are committed to nurturing compassionate and responsible professionals," the communication further stated.
What Nairobi Women's Hospital College is doing about the matter
The institution also announced its commitment to conducting internal investigations and taking appropriate actions against Vanessa under its policies and procedures.
In the viral video, the woman, in the company of another man, hurled abuses at the nurse, demanding that she immediately attend to their patient.
However, when the nurses hesitated, she began scattering items at the office and, at some point, calling out the name 'Ababu' (she is believed to be showing her proximity to the government's senior official).
Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba distanced himself from the video, stating that he would investigate the matter and rectify any wrongdoing.
