A video of an unidentified man playing Wakadinali's Geri Inengi atop a police Land Cruiser is gaining traction on social media.
How did man dare cops?
The man daringly nudged a speaker into the Land Cruiser's bull bar while blasting the 2021 hit song.
He then sings along to the lyrics:

"Cheki fala amekam na amezubaa, Na anacheki ati Subaru ya mambaru Imekam na imejaa…"
The lyrics loosely translate to:
"Look a fool is not alert, and he is seeing a police car coming, and it’s full of cops".
It warns of the dangers of being complacent in the "hood" while the police are on patrol.
Bewilderingly, a policeman was seen nonchalantly walking past the vehicle as the man blasts the song.
It is not clear when the video was captured or whether the man was arrested. While some hit back at the man terming the move as reckless, others lauded him for his courage.
@k5_monte:
"This is the courage we want. Next we will host a bash at a police station."
@unrulybandit:
"The cop has no idea what is happening."
@vancekims:
"No one has such guts. These are just cops in their camps."
@zoden_entertainment:
"This country was supposed to be a rehab."
How did Wakadinali shine in 2023?
In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that Wakadinali dominated the Spotify Wrapped list, an annual review of how people listen to artists, albums, tracks, playlists, and even podcasts, beating international and local Kenyan artists.
In the top streamed artists list, Wakadinali made up of Domani Munga, Sewersydaa, and Scar, came in seventh and was the only local artist to feature on the list led by US rapper Drake.
“The Kenyan music scene has grown exponentially, and it is refreshing to see a Kenyan artist in the top streamed list,” Phiona Okumu, Spotify SSA’s Head of Music, said about Wakadinali's milestone.
