Viral chats of a Kenyan woman talking rudely to her boyfriend, whom she described as 'broke' have been shared on social media and ignited mixed reactions among Kenyans.
The chats painted the picture of the troublesome relationship between the woman and the man as he confronted her for lying about her whereabouts on New Year's Eve.
In the conversations shared on TikTok, the man questioned why his partner lied that she would spend New Year's Eve with her family only to attend the Churchill crossover concert with a mysterious man.
He also told her that he did not wish to continue with the relationship due to the layer of lies that had formed around it.

"When I get the money, I will look for you, but for now, just go. You lied about spending the New Year with your family because I have seen a video of you in the concert with the same man you claimed was your uncle," the heartbroken man recalled.
In her response, the lady called him penniless, asking him how she should survive now that he had no money.
"Bro, you have no money! What should I have done? Don't disturb me! Go away," she said as shown in the TikTok video.
The man kept his response short, only saying 'thanks' to her harsh message.

Kenyans have since sympathised with the man, and are now encouraging him to look for money so that he is not disrespected again in the future.

The unsuspecting wife discovered the clandestine affair when she accessed her husband's smartphone and found explicit messages exchanged between him and another woman.
"What exactly do men want? Our four years of marriage is going to the dogs, and we haven't even enjoyed it because we were raising kids," she wrote.
