Aldrine Kibet, the St Anthony's Boys Kitale school player who emerged the top scorer in the recently concluded national secondary schools competition is in Nairobi.
Hailed as the best player in the tournament, Kibet netted five goals to not only be named the top scorer but also help the Solidarity Boys clinch the tournament.

The lethal finisher cemented his name in the history book of the competition after scoring the brace that propelled his team to Rwanda for the East and Central Africa schools' regional competition.

The flight was courtesy of Eldama Ravine Member of Parliament Musa Sirma who offered to treat the budding player and his family for his exemplary performance in this year's school competition.
In a gratitude post on Facebook, the young footballer shared photos of himself after landing at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
"Deeply grateful for the warm welcome, courtesy of Hon Musa Sirma EGH MP. Thrilled to be greeted by my area MP Eldama Ravine and family at JKIA after a wonderful flight from Kisumu," he captioned it.
Aldrine is Spain-bound
Kibet is expected to be taken on a tour of parliament building where he will meet other members of parliament.
With the regional competition is Rwanda behind them, the 16-year-old is set to travel to Spain to join Barcelona academy alongside his captain Amos Wanjala.
The move is expected to help the young attacking midfielder hone his footballing skills further and grow into a reputable player in future.
Omuse gifted KSh 100k boots
Meanwhile, his teammate Joseph Omuse has been gifted a pair of autographed boots by renowned Spanish footballer Rodrigo Moreno.
Rodrigo, who previously played for both Real Madrid and Leeds United, congratulated the emerging soccer star in a video and gave out the boots valued at KSh 100,000.
"Congratulations on your performance. I am sending you the boots from here in Qatar and hope you enjoy them," the star footballer said in a video.
Omuse has inspired many after rising from an orphaned boy living on the streets just 12 years ago to the football sensation he has become.
