Anyang' Nyong'o lauds medical facilities
Following the surgery, Nyong'o exuded confidence in the county's medical facilities.
"It is now very clear to me that even with the existing resources, both human and technical, we have the capacity to treat conditions that we sometimes shy away from and end up spending huge personal resources elsewhere," said Nyong'o as he lauded the healthcare facility for literally saving his back!
The Azimio leaders who visited Nyong'o were among thousands of mourners who included legislators and religious leaders at the inter-denominational requiem mass for victims of police brutality at the Jaramogi Park in Bondo.
ODM leader Raila Odinga and his wife Mama Ida Odinga were also in attendance.
Raila Odinga's new political strategy
During the event, Raila disclosed plans to change how they express displeasure with President William Ruto's administration.
Raila decried killings attributed to the police during the three-day anti-government protests, stating that there were many ways of killing a cat.
During the interdenominational requiem mass on Friday, August 11, in Bondo, the former prime minister declared that Kenya must be liberated.
Raila declared that the coalition party doesn't have to call their supporters to the streets for their voices to be heard.
The former premier observed that staying indoors was also a form of protest that would show the displeasure of most Kenyans.
