What did Godon Ogada do for community?
Ogada’s life changed overnight when he bagged KSh 230 million in 2018. He made headlines when he said he was broke months down, but it was a guise.
The multimillionaire invested the money in numerous properties, including a majestic house upcountry.

On Friday, August 18, Lang’ata MP Jalang’o shared videos showing the community project undertaken by Ogada in the village.
One clip depicted a truck drilling a borehole in Migori, and Jalang'o praised Ogada.
Another showed clean water trickling out of the borehole drilled in his compound.
Jalang’o disclosed that the borehole was a community project, claiming Ogada was a billionaire.
“Despite being a billionaire, Ogada gives back to the community! Back in the village, the SportPesa Jackpot winner has just sunk a borehole for the community!
He is a good man, and he will go to heaven!”
Kenyans lauded the move.
“There are lots of good people out here. It’s only poverty that is preventing them from making an impact. Great job, Ogada,” wrote one.
“You can't give what you don't have. True self-reliance allows love to flow,” added another.
Inside Gordon Ogada’s mansion
Ogada is the proud owner of a two-storey, KSh 20 million mansion. A fence surrounds the house and features solar-powered floodlights to keep off intruders.
The mansion has a modern maroon roof and a dominantly khaki paint scheme.
The front of the house has a balcony and two-storey glass, swamping the interior with light. Another balcony was spotted on the side of the building.
Ogada also constructed a garage for his numerous cars on one side of the compound.
Images of the garage depicted multiple vehicles parked, including a white Mercedes Benz. Next to it was an SUV, presumably a Toyota Land Cruiser.
