Holding a symbolic Kalenjin belt for women, culturally referred to as 'Legetyo', he asked Ruto to listen.
"Ruto, never dialogue with Raila. And if you will not listen to me because of my poverty, listen to this," an emotional Kipkorir said lifting the belt from her waist.
No fruits in Raila Odinga demos
Speaking exclusively on a phone call to TUKO.co.ke, the emotional woman said the head of state, as a man from the tribe, understands the significance of the belt that men are not allowed to touch.
"In case Ruto does not listen to what I said, Ruto understands it as a Kalenjin. When a woman holds that thing, the man will never do what the woman is against. If he goes on and defies the orders, he will face the consequences of his choice," Kipkorir told TUKO.co.ke.
The Kalenjin woman said she is against the Ruto-Raila truce because she has never seen the significance of demonstrations orchestrated by the Azimio la Umoja leader.
"Since I was born and began to understand politics, I have never seen positive results brought about by the Raila Odinga-led demonstrations. The has been nothing positive about them," she claimed.
She accused the former prime minister of being selfish in his push as the opposition, implicating his hangers-on and other Kenyans.
