A Kenyan woman has inspired netizens for working in a male-dominated industry.
Long-distance female driver inspired Kenyans
The lady, going by Lioness Kahuari on TikTok and Facebook, is a long-distance truck driver.
Kahuari drives a 22-wheeler truck across borders to other East African countries, including Rwanda.

The driver recently posted a TikTok video showing her behind the wheel at the Rwanda border crossing.
Kahuari was celebrated by her male counterparts in a truck drivers’ Facebook forum and on TikTok.
A trucker shared a photo of Kahuari beside her, calling fellow truckers to recognise her.
“Hello, comrades. I hope you are well. Let us congratulate this Kenyan baby girl who is trucking all the way from Mombasa to Rwanda,” Samuel Meja wrote.
The post attracted a flurry of comments as netizens congratulated Kahuari, with numerous ladies admitting that she inspired them.
