Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has offered an apology to Tanzanian rappers.
Why is Khaligraph apologising?
Speaking to Wasafi FM, the singer explained his remarks were misinterpreted as he didn't mean to attack Tanzanian artistes.
He said the viral comment was taken out of context and urged Tanzanian musicians to forgive him.

"I didn't mean to attack anyone. I was also disappointed when I saw the interview was cut I said it was not supposed to be like that because obviously, some people would misinterpret it. It gave me the wrong impression. I apologise for that. It was not good. My statement was taken out of context," he said.
Khaligraph displays Tanzanian ID
Khaligraph also took to his Instagram account to alert Kenyans that the online war between the two countries had ended.
He shared a photo of a doctored Tanzanian Identity Card and jokingly said he had acquired Tanzanian citizenship and is now one of them.
On the ID, his Tanzania-inspired name is Wassira Mwijoker.
"My fellow Kenyans, I want to show that the war with Tanzania is over. They have given me citizenship, and now let us continue our lives as a matter of urgency without conflict, you Omollo Wassira," he wrote.
Harmonize responds to Khaligraph's attack
A few days ago, Harmonize called out Khaligraph after the latter challenged Tanzanian rappers to a rap battle.
Harmonize accused Khaligraph of disrespecting Tanzanian rappers and their craft.
He defended the Tanzanian rap scene, mentioning his collaboration with Khaligraph in the past and the recognition it garnered.
He expressed disappointment at Khaligraph's disregard for Tanzanian rappers and the contributions they've made to his style.
"How I went so hard to give you the only award this year. I didn't know you could feel that big and disrespect my brothers! You really know all your rap inspiration is from Tanzania bro. Don't forget home !!!! Do you know weusiii?? What about your daddy County Boy... Tanzanian hip hop is another level," Harmonize wrote on his Instastories.
