Why is Max Mwamburi's cake business not on?

Speaking about his cake business, the entrepreneur said he is not into the business anymore.

"The arrears have to do with the cake business I was running. There were mistakes made generally just like any other business. I messed up, and I have learnt my lessons. I had three branches in Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa and hired a lot of people and got overwhelmed," he said.

TV actor pleads with Kenyans to help him pay KSh 5k

Former Ebru TV comedian Tony Sherman is facing financial hardship after losing his job; he seeks support to make ends meet.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the comedian said he has been battling to make ends meet. After losing his job at Ebru TV, Sherman attempted content creation to sustain himself financially.

However, the journey has been challenging, with meagre returns not enough to cover basic needs. The lack of a stable income has left him hungry and uncertain about his future.

Dependent on the kindness of friends for the past three months, Sherman now faces a more pressing concern - eviction from his rented house in Pipeline, Nairobi, as he cannot pay the monthly rent of KSh 5,000.

In an emotional plea to well-wishers, Sherman implored for help to buy equipment, particularly a camera, to aid him in transitioning to more serious content creation.

"I have been suffering. Hunger is killing me. I don't have money. Currently, I depend on friends. They have been helping me to pay rent, but I feel I have burdened them enough. I might be evicted from my house in Pipeline, Nairobi if I fail to pay this month's rent," Sherman told TUKO.co.ke in an interview.
