"I had to sit them down and tell them I am a different character when I am acting. And the one character they will always remember is Abasi. The guy in Kona, they will always remember him," he said.

When asked about roles he cannot play in any film, Jack said:

"As a result of now having a wife, and her reactions, I like to avoid bedroom scenes. I don't want to be discussing and being hit by flying sufurias as I enter the house just because she saw that episode. I would not act a gay character or person, not because I have any issue or I have any against someone who is gay, I believe everyone has their own opinion," he said.

According to the actor, he is not afraid of touching another man but he would not play a gay scene because he does not understand what to do.

"I have to understand what I'm acting to make it real. And because I don't understand what being gay is, what it inspires you, how then I'm I going to portray it?" he said.
