In a candid and heartfelt revelation, Nairobi-based digital content creator, Missi Kiambuthi, shared her story of a date that started as the best experience but quickly turned into the worst.

Speaking about her encounter with a man she was interested in, she warned women to trust their instincts and be cautious in their romantic pursuits.

Kiambuthi began by recounting the initial excitement and joy of the date, where she and her companion seemed to be hitting it off splendidly.

However, in an unexpected twist, the night took a dark turn.

"We were having the best time ever, don't overthink. I am a Christian and a virg*n," revealed Kiambuthi.
"In the middle of the night, out of nowhere, he looks at me and goes, 'Eve, sasa acha tu nikuulize, ulikuwa unaringia nani?' I have never been hurt like that. We went from 100 to zero. It felt like I was taking you all this way to prove that I could still get you. I have never forgiven him. Why would you do that?"

Her painful experience led her to offer a piece of advice to women, warning them not to date someone if they have doubts about their character or past behaviour.

She emphasised that dating someone from one's past encounters could lead to hurtful confrontations and advised women to block and walk away from such individuals.

"Kama kuna mtu umeringia, don't date them. They will rub it on your face every time. Block, toka," cautioned Kiambuthi, underscoring the importance of self-respect and preserving one's well-being.

Her parting remark, "Character development ni hatari," served as a poignant reminder that people can change over time, and not always for the better.

While giving others a chance is essential, Kiambuthi's story highlights the necessity of staying vigilant and protecting oneself from potential harm in relationships.
