Nairobi - Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has said the ongoing bipartisan talks are a waste of time.
Nyoro asked Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party to terminate the talks, saying Kenyans decided in the August 9, 2022, General Election.
The William Ruto ally said the talks should be halted because "they are not going anywhere".

Speaking at a church fundraiser in his constituency, Ndindi said the country cannot wake up to politics daily with leaders trying to create positions for themselves.
"The people who have employed us, that is, the wananchi spoke last year and decided who will lead them and who will be the leader of opposition or put the government in check."
"So, with no doubt and with a lot of certainty, me as Ndindi Nyoro and the people of Murang'a, Kiharu and Kenya at large, we are pleading that tomorrow as the talks resume, the first agenda should be actually to terminate the talks," Nyoro said.
The lawmaker explained that the leadership in place must focus on development that would help people move forward.
"We are against this issue of people talking, calling them bipartisan talks and should stop at once as we don't need it as a country as all is needed in Kenya is development," he said.
The dialogue between Raila Odinga and William Ruto teams enters the second week, aiming to quell political tensions and animosity witnessed since the general election.
Where is Kalonzo Musyoka
On Monday, August 21, both Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party representatives and those of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance convened at Bomas of Kenya to continue with the peace talks.
However, by publishing this piece, the former vice president had not arrived at the venue, leaving National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah and Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi to take charge of the talks.
It is immediately clear whether the Wiper leader communicated his absence to the National Dialogue Committee, given he is a committee co-chair.
