5-year-old Rongai boy dies in sewer tank

The incident brings back heartbreaking memories of Lewis Onsare from Ongata Rongai who fell into an open sewer tank and died.

Lewis's mother Anne Chacha told TUKO.co.ke that the five-year-old fell into the tank at 4pm and stayed inside until 7pm when his lifeless body was pulled out.

According to the maize seller, planning a funeral for a child who left home in good health was too difficult to handle.

Anne lamented the fact that the owner of the house with the open sewer was yet to show up or offer any direction on the matter.
