Proposals are always heartwarming moments for people who love each other and those who surround them; whether a simple proposal or a grand one.
Worshippers at Kedarnath temple amused
It is usually more attention-grabbing when the proposal is in public and done by a woman. An Indian woman took things a notch higher when she took her bae to the Kendanarth temple in India and proposed to him.
The man looked so touched and, at some point looked like he was blushing due to the overwhelming moment.

The sweet, romantic gesture did not go unnoticed by other worshippers, and some stopped going about their businesses, whipped out their phones and started recording the moment while urging them on.
Proposal disgusts Ravisutanjani
Not everyone was, however, impressed by the romantic gesture done on August 1, 2023. Ravisutanjani, who posted it on Twitter, said:
"One of the reasons why smartphones should be banned from all leading temples and shrines. Just a basic phone within 20kms of the main temple eliminates unnecessary crowds."
" I’ve serious problem with this, do at another place. Let our shrines and temples be sacred. Even you can’t take phone inside Kashi Vishwanath Temple.I fully support ban of smartphones from all such temples," he continued .
Some netizens, however, told him off and insisted that he should let them have their moment as all gods love people being in love.
Comments from netizens:
Ankit:
"As far as they are not being obscene, it should be fine & this is so beautiful! They are not doing anything inappropriate here. Giving commitment of life to each other in front of the Lord is the Indian way of marriage. What needs to be revisited is not the smartphone ban but our narrow thinking."
Rajesh Madapathi:
"The Hindu way of the marriage process is entirely different from what they have done."
Ajay Verma:
"The whole thing about the all the fuss is why put everything thing on social media. Record it, save it for your own memories. Why upload on internet to instigate others to do the same. That's where ban of smartphone to all pilgrims comes into play."
Manmoan Singh:
"Temples aren't marriage palaces. Sanctity needs to be maintained."
Anmol R Sethi:
"Why is it bad. They didn’t bother anyone had their moment with complete respect. Congratulations to them."
Raghu:
"What if Shiva and Parvati are happy by seeing this happy couple ...just ur hurt..it doesn't mean u should hurt our God...You don't have any right. You should think both ways ...just not from your selfish perspective.l m sure every god will love these loving gestures."
