Dar es Salaam - A quack doctor is currently a guest of the Tanzanian state after being caught operating on patients at the Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH).
Mussa Mawa was on duty attending to patients when the authorities of the facility caught up with him.
The Muslim cleric was caught inside a ward where he later said he went to rob a female patient there.
Mawa was clad in the hospital's official doctors' white discount that has the official logo near the left armhole.

He also had a badge indicating he was a doctor at the futuristic facility.
Cornered, Mawa said he had been given the attires and the other articles by a vendor outside the hospital precincts.
"I come from Mbagala. I just came here to con a woman. I had wanted money due to my current situation. I wanted TZS 140,000 (KSh 8,000)," he said.
He denied having a contact in the hospital with whom he conspired to fleece patients.
Still in Tanzania, two staffers were once sent out of another hospital for misbehaving.
