Leonard Mutweta Mungai's life took a turn after he failed his university exams, missing a few crucial marks.
He studied at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Mombasa Campus, where well-wishers sponsored him.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the 28-year-old said he failed two papers, biochemistry and parasitology, each by just two marks and needed to retake them, but his sponsors walked out on him.
