According to Dawn, before she decided to come out about their situation, she sometimes wished someone had gone public while waiting for a child instead of after they had received their bundle of joy.
So they started talking about their journey, thinking it would only last one or two years.
"We had no idea that it would take us so long. Our prayer has been whether it is another couple or another woman in the wait, may our story continually tell people whether God does it or not, He is still a good God," she said on Rawder Kidula Kedaha's YouTube channel.
"These are the times you get very close to your spouse because ladies carry a heaviness as it is heavily tied to their identity, to their identity that we don't carry. It takes a true and God-fearing man to stand beside, support and pray and be proud of them despite the situation, how they are feeling and processing," he said.
Dawn is the one with the challenges
Sucre revealed that just because men do not carry the heaviness like women do, it doesn't mean they don't.
"It's not an easy journey, but one thing we have seen is the faithfulness of God. The same way we didn't have the grace to walk as married people is the same way we have walked in the grace of this journey," said the musician.
"We can make things happen, but only God can make it beautiful; anything He puts his hands on will flourish," he added.
Dawn revealed that she is the one with challenges getting pregnant, and when she tells that to social media fans, they start giving her a lot of advice.
"God is still a good God," she declared .
"We are not in need of prophets or supplements, we are happy with the medical care we are getting," she added.
