Celebrated musician Esther Akoth, aka Akothee, has made the day of a Mount Kenya University student by gifting her KSh 50,000 for upkeep.
Milly studies Bachelor of Medicine
In a Facebook post, the MKU Foundation revealed that Akothee handed over the cheque on the sidelines of a breakfast forum on education scholarships and funding.

"Milly is currently studying Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery under full scholarship," said the institution on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

In another story, Akothee Academy, founded by singer Akothee, was officially registered under the Ministry of Education.
The businesswoman expressed her excitement about the milestone, giving credit to the county director of education.
