In a statement, KDF announced that Jenty gave birth to a healthy baby girl, weighing about 5.5 pounds, two hours later.

While acknowledging the challenges of giving birth at the Regimental Aid Post, the military medics underlined their dedication to making sure the mother had a safe delivery.

After the mother and the baby were stabilised, a Kenya Red Cross ambulance took them to Marigat District Hospital for immunisations and postnatal care.

Due to the absence of a health centre throughout the entire location, Mukutani Location confronts serious medical facility difficulties.

Due to security concerns, the previously operational facility was closed, which resulted in the medical staff being relocated and the building being vandalised.

Kenyans who viewed the Facebook post couldn't keep quiet as they heaped praise on the KDF officers.
