Bomet - Police in Bomet county have launched a manhunt for a middle-aged man who allegedly killed his wife in Korara area.
Citizen Digital reported that Niphale Kiprotich Ngetich is suspected of killing his wife using a claw hammer in what appears to have been caused by a domestic dispute.

Bomet East sub-county Police Commander John Karani said the 30-year-old woman succumbed to injuries as the suspect fled the scene after committing the heinous act.

Detectives who processed the scene recovered what is believed to be the killer weapons, which included a claw hammer, a kitchen knife, and a wooden stick.
Karani said the body of the deceased had also been mutilated.
"The body had deep physical injuries and also some parts were cut off. It seems he also used the kitchen knife to kill her. We are yet to establish exactly what transpired before the incident," said Karani.

In other sad news, police in Kericho county launched investigations following the gruesome murder of a woman in Belgut.
NTV reported that police arrested a 46-year-old man alleged to have stabbed the victim to death following a domestic dispute.
Confirming the incident, Belgut Sub-County Police Commander Charles Kibati, the suspect, stabbed his wife with a knife at home on Sunday, November 26, before driving to town with her body.
According to the police, the man arrived home, and shortly after, an argument broke out with the deceased, which turned into a physical fight.
The woman allegedly took a knife and attempted to stab her husband, but he dodged, grabbed her, and turned on her, stabbing her to death.
After committing the crime, the man put her body in the passenger seat and drove to Kapsoit Trading Centre on a drinking spree.
