On Wednesday, December 27, Khalwale shared photos of the youths with the gifts on his official X account.
The gifts included a goat and a chicken.

"This morning, I enjoyed a flurry of gifts as youths whose lives I touched this year expressed their love and appreciation," Khalwale wrote.
TUKO.co.ke reported that Kenyans on the X app roasted Khalwale for issuing 'handouts' to a sick and hungry man instead of helping him get medical attention.
Why Boni Khalwale faced the wrath of Kenyans
The angry Kenyans accused Khalwale, a medic by profession, of being insensitive to the needs of the stranded man.
"Khalwale, acting is a talent you should capitalise on very well and stop making it obvious. As a leader, you found a hungry, sick man; you should have called an ambulance. Why did you give him money first rather than calling an ambulance to take the sick man to the hospital? Handouts will never work. Wachana na hii ujinga kabisa," replied Bobby Vj.
In the video, the politician gave money to the man he found sitting by the roadside before stopping vehicles to allow him to cross.
"Got a tired, hungry, sick man resting by the roadside on the guard rails at Mubenji. Helped him cross the busy highway and go home to Muraka," said the senator.
In another related story, TUKO.co.ke reported that Khalwale caused a small frenzy on his X timeline after he responded to a Kenyan's request for some money.
How Boni Khalwale helped a needy man
The man asked for 'coffee' and went ahead to leave his mobile phone number through which it would be wired.
"Good morning, Senator Boni...Today being a weekend, I'll be very glad if you buy me a cup of coffee, 0792415468. Thanks in advance, Bwana Senator," he pleaded with the senator.
The Kakamega senator responded in the affirmative by sending him KSh 200 via M-Pesa.
Netizens who were following were puzzled at the amount sent out, and the one as balance in the lawmaker's mobile money wallet.
Some wondered why the senator chose to send KSh 200 only when he had upward of KSh 50,000.
