Sofiya reveals why she wasn't credit for her song
The Mwaki vocalist recently calmed netizens down after explaining why she was not credited on her viral song.
The song was attributed to the Brazilian Producer, despite containing Sofiya's vocals, and Kenyans were not pleased.
They flocked to Sofiya's social media, demanding an explanation and criticised the Brazilian producer for not crediting her.
The singer stated that she has an agreement with Zerb that sees her raking in proceeds from the song and its success.
"I've been doing vocal packs and placing them on various websites where artists and songwriters get exposure and also get to pay their bills. So that's where the amazing producer who did the song, Mwaki, got the vocals from, made the beat for the song, and made a hit," she said.
