While visiting Kenya, a mzungu man, Kino Yves, has complained after getting charged a hefty amount for ugali matumbo.
Mzungu man's surprise at kibandaski
In a video that has gone viral, the mzungu man visited a local hotel to sample some Kenyan delicacies.
Initially, when he ordered the ugali matumbo, they told him they were charging KSh 200 per plate.

He was surprised when they changed tune and asked him to pay KSh 1,000 for the meal.
When he inquired and asked what changed for the pricing to jump to KSh 1,000, they noted that ugali was KSh 200.
He lamented, noting that it was a bad practice to con foreigners.
"How much do I owe you? KSh 1000? Really? That is really the price you are saying? Before you told me this is KSh 200. Ugali is KSh 800? Are very serious? I will give you KSh 500 because I think it is already overpriced. KSh 200 more? The ugali does not cost KSh 500. I know you are charging me ten times for the ugali. I will wait and see if you are charging people KSh 500 for the ugali. You are cheating me. I mean it is your right but you are giving a bad image of the people. I can understand the people are poor here."
Woman conned KSh 10k from fake mzungu
In a separate con story, a Kenyan woman fell victim to a sophisticated online scam, where she was deceived by an imposter posing as a foreign boyfriend.
The scam, which involved the promise of expensive gifts and a substantial sum of money, devastated the victim.
The woman met the scammer on Facebook, where they engaged in seemingly innocent conversations.
