Nominated senator Karen Nyamu has advised women to be feminine in their relationships.
Nyamu's advice to women
In an interview during the Samidoh Foundation launch, the mother of three advised ladies not to take on men's roles in relationships.
Nyamu noted that women needed to let men lead in their households in order to maintain order in one's house.

"Women be women and let a man be a man. Women should be feminine and let a man provide. There are a lot of misconceptions like women wanting to be independent. Like me, I have been misconceived to be independent, and I don't need input from a man. No, let a man be a man he was made like that. If you don't let him take care of you, he is going to find someone he can take care of in his element," she said.
Did Karen Nyamu unfollow Samidoh?
The mother of three also revealed that she and Samidoh truly unfollowed each other on Instagram, as earlier reported by other news sites.
She admitted that they have love spats occasionally, which was normal according to her, and it meant nothing.
She said:
"Well, go and confirm it is true. You know when there are feelings, when people love each other clash here and there and overreacting happens and it is not the first nor the last time and it means nothing."
Samidoh grateful to the mothers of his kids
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that at the foundation, the musician gave a speech and he expressed his appreciation for his estranged wife Edday and Nyamu as the mothers of his kids.
He also showered his kids with love, saying that their love made him better and propelled him forward.
"To my children, whom I love so much, you are the rhythm starts that you meet my darkest nights. You are the reason I strive to be better. Your love propels me forward. I am forever grateful to your mothers for bearing all of you," Samidoh said.
