Sammy Ondimu urges colleagues not to enter people's car

In a related story, renowned administration police officer Sammy Ondimu Ngare urged traffic police officers to exercise caution while undertaking their duties.

In a Facebook post, Ngare pleaded with traffic officers to stop entering people's vehicles by force to enforce traffic rules.

"If you have to get into someone's car in the event you find them on the wrong, then do it systematically, explaining to the car owner their fault. Stop getting into someone's car as if it's yours," Ngare said.

Ngare advised that instead of a traffic officer engaging in a fight with a traffic offender, the officer can take note of the vehicle's registration number and charge the suspect later.
