CNN international correspondent Larry Madowo has stunned netizens with photos of himself before he made it big-time in the media.

Madowo’s humble beginnings

The photographs which document his humble beginnings at KTN to his now high-flying job at CNN have wowed his followers.

Taken 15 years apart, the first photo is of Madowo doing a piece to camera (PTC) in the street while spotting a striped polo shirt.

He looks ungracefully thin. His eyes seem lost in the web of what the future holds but oozed unmistakable confidence.

The second photo is of him at CNN.

He appears fuller in a custom-tailored shirt and boasts a wide grin that shows off his pearly whites.

His skin is smooth and glowing. His eyes still project confidence and presence.

The incredible side-by-side transformation saw his followers laud him for not despising humble beginnings.

Larry Madowo started out as a trainee business reporter at KTN.

The correspondent recently left Kenyans cringing after eating snails in Morocco.

The celebrated Kenyan journalist who has a penchant for trying unorthodox foods was in Rabat when he posted a video eating boiled snails.

The scribe previously posted a video eating roasted mice along a street in Malawi.
