Navakholo MP Elated After Son Scores Straight A In KCSE: "He's A Good Listener"

As politicians and prominent Kenyans took to social media to celebrate their children and relatives for performing excellently in the just-released KCSE, Navakholo MP Emmanuel Wangwe was not left behind.

Kakamega MP's son scores straight A in KCSE 2023

The vocal politician is a happy father after his son posted excellent results in the 2023 KCSE examinations announced by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu on Monday, January 8.

According to the MP, Kelly Kaula Wangwe scored a straight A of 82 points, putting him among the country's best-performing KCSE candidates in 2023.

Speaking exclusively to TUKO.co.ke, Wangwe said that he expected his son to excel and was glad the young man did not disappoint him by scoring highly.

"The boy is a good listener and focused on his goals. As a father, I am proud of him and, as expected, will support him in achieving his goals to the best I can," the MP stated.

Kaula told TUKO.co.ke he wanted to become an aeronautical engineer and was glad his grades supported his ambition.

Kaula's elder sibling, studying civil engineering at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agricultural Technology (JKUAT), congratulated him, saying he would make an excellent and dependable aeronautical engineer.

The candidate sat for the 2023 KCSE at Kabarak High School, which has, over the years, been churning out top students in the national examinations.

His favourite subjects were mathematics and sciences, which aligned with his career dream.

Boni Khalwale celebrates Tubu for passing KCSE

Other politicians who celebrated their children and relatives for excelling in the 2023 KCSE are Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale and Lamu Governor Issa Timamy.

Khalwale's relative scored a B+ after sitting for the 2023 KCSE exams at St Brigids Kiminini Girls High School in Trans Nzoia county.

Lamu Governor Issa Timamy's son, Abdallah Issa Timamy, also excelled in the 2023 KCSE, scoring a straight A with 83 points.

Glad he had surpassed his elder sibling's grades, Abdalla told TUKO.co.ke that he would like to be a lawyer.
