Kenyans help family pay bill
In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, her daughter Edith Ndirangu revealed that their mum had been suffering from a brain tumour, and she later got healed.
The matronly woman later sunk into depression after learning that her bill had risen astronomically and her family was unable to raise it; she later died.

Ndirangu revealed that they tried all means including selling their land (not the one they live on) so that they could pay KSh 2.5 million for their mum's release, as agreed with the hospital.
Despite raising some money, they were not given their mum's body, and their sad story prompted Kenyans to raise KSh 500,000 for them, which helped to reduce the amount they were yet to pay at the hospital.

Lebanese agent refuses lady to bury her parents
Elsewhere, a Kenyan lady living in Lebanon was devastated after she missed her parents’ burials after her agent refused to release her.
Divinah Moraa's parents died within days of each other in March 2021, and when she reported, the agents said it was a lie; they only changed their minds after seeing the photos of the burials.
TUKO.co.ke learnt that Moraa, who had travelled to the country to work as a housekeeper, found another job and also runs a business on the side.
