Nairobi - Raila Odinga diehard supporter Nuru Okanga has called out detectives attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) who recently arrested him.
In a now-viral video, Okanga claimed that the officers dragged him from the bathroom while he was taking a shower.
"Mimi nataka kuomba DCI wale walinishika. Mlinifanyia madharau. (I want to tell the DCI officers who arrested me that you wronged me. You can't forcefully drag me out of the bathroom and parade me before my family)," Okanga said.

Why Nuru Okanga felt he was disrespected by the DCI officers
Okanga told the officers that despite them being at work, they disrespected him.
"So, mi naomba DCI wale walikuja kunishika mlikuwa kazi lakini mlinifanyia kitu mbaya. (I just want to tell those DCI offices that in the Luhya culture it is wrong for a child to see their parents' nakedness)," Okanga added.
According to the political activist, whatever the offices did might have been good to them but wrong to him.
(What you did was right before your eyes but not mine. I don't want to talk much but let's meet in court on December 13," said Okanga.
