However, what caught Obinna's eye were the numerous chapatis stacked in serving dishes.
Obinna flipped the hard and thick chapatis in disbelief.
His three daughters came into the kitchen, asking whether he had noticed the quality and texture of the flatbreads.
“Ni ngumu ngumu,” one of the girls said.
“Chapati yake ni hard, naskia uchungu jawline,” his youngest daughter added.
In the video's caption, Obinna revealed his difficulties with nannies.
Oga Obinna's woes with nannies
He said that the nanny who made the chapatis was his fifth one and that she had only been working for him for a week.
“Ghai! Kimeniramba tena! New house manager barely a week old leo amepika chapo! I’ve changed about 5 house managers in a span of 2 months. Why? Hawajui kupika!” he lamented.
He added that all his nannies in the past had been deficient in one way or another, from cleanliness to poor cooking to being harsh with his kids, leaving him at a loss on where to find a good, well-trained one.
He disclosed that he had tried getting house managers from all sources, whether referrals or agencies, and they had all let him down.
"I love food!! Good food!! I’m a brilliant cook. So whatever you cook has to be good! I’ve gotten from agencies, referrals, and DM. Wanachoma!! They all say we can cook and bake and blah blah blah…ikifika jikoni mwengine anakoroga samaki. Sasa sijui Nifanyeje.
“Huyu amepika chapo mabati kwa usafi nayo ako poa!” he explained.
Obinna even gave an example of one of his previous house managers inexplicably burning his daughter with an iron box.
"Mwenye alienda on 23rd - Lazy and Slow na Kupika noma na akipiga mtoto pasi kwa forehead (I also donno how it happened). Before her- Food Noma. Before her - usafi noma. Before her - Korean movies whole day. Before her - kichwa ngumu. Before her - Kugombanisha watoto.
“Huyu naona hizi 4 days amefanya iko sawa, alipwe full salary na awache tu coz sioni tukitoboa!” he concluded.
