Kisii - Nyaribari Chache MP Zaheer Jhanda had a difficult time holding together wads of KSh worth over KSh 3 million.

The incident happened on Tuesday, December 12, when the politician was awarding winners of a local super cup football tournament.

Kisii governor Simba Arati and South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro attended the event.

"Unajua mheshimiwa Zaheer Jhanda ni mfupi lakini weka tu juu. (You know Zaheer Jhanda is short but just raise the cash)," Arati told the politician as he lifted the wads of cash.

Some Kenyans who watched the video lamented about the broader implications of socioeconomic inequality in Kenya.

What TikToker @_kenyanprince told KRA

@_kenyanprince claimed that the money he was flaunting was KSh 6 million.

He dared the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to find him, as he could comfortably pay his taxes, and his source of getting the cash was legit.

"Hii si kipindi guys, this is money that has been wrapped with rubber bands. One to three, six million Kenyan shillings. This is what six million Kenyan shillings look like that is real si hadithi. It has been withdrawn by the forex bureau of investigations, and KRA, you can look for me so that I can pay you."

Separately, a Kenyan forex trader Kafuri, has been showing off what fans term as a 'fake lifestyle' online after he was recently exposed.

The Truth Watchdog took it upon himself and did an investigative piece on the forex trader and a mansion he claimed to own.

Kafuri was exposed for his lies, and the owner of the mansion challenged him to provide receipts of the mansion's title deed.
