Nairobi - The inaugural Africa Climate Summit (ACS) secretariat has launched the official Africa Climate Summit App ahead of the events from Monday, September 4 to Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

Why Nairobi roads will be closed
In a related story, TUKO.co.ke reported that exactly four days to the event, the government announced a temporary closure of four Nairobi City roads ahead of the event.
"The following roads will be temporarily closed for three days due to the upcoming African Climate Summit, to be hosted by President William Ruto from September 4-6 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC)," the statement reads in part.
The roads will be closed from Monday, September 4 at 2 am until Wednesday, September 6 at 6 pm.
