The lawmaker shared the photos of him and his wife humbling before God on his official social media pages.
"Today, my wife and I worshipped at Redeemed Gospel Church, Utawala in Embakasi East Republic," Babu captioned the photos.
His humble nature comes weeks after being arrested and detained for several days over his involvement in the anti-government protests.
The Embakasi East MP decried harassment by the government over his firm stand over the high cost of living.
Why Babu Owino criticised government?
The Embakasi East MP recently criticised President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua over their administration's handling of Kenyans' affairs.
The MP was arrested on the eve of the Wednesday, July 19, maandamano led by Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Party leader Raila Odinga and was detained for over 40 hours before being arraigned for planning to commit subversive actions.
After he was released on bail, the youthful MP accused the Kenya Kwanza administration of persecuting leaders standing up for Kenyans instead of addressing real issues that needed urgent intervention.
He said the two leaders had hardened their hearts and were only interested in what they wanted for Kenyans, not what Kenyans needed, further blasting their advisors.
"You are surrounded by jokers. Kenya is headed to the wrong direction because of the high cost of living. People lack a lot in life yet you are rushing to build houses when people need food and school fees. I have been where I had to sleep hungry and struggle to get school fees," he said.
