Former Sol Generation signee Bensoul has rattled netizens with his remarks on Twitter, claiming that fans had a long way to go if they can't afford the VIP tickets by November.
Sauti Sol takes break from music
The award-winning Kenyan band announced they were breaking up after nearly two decades of making sweet music together.
However, they assured supporters that it was not the end of their legacy.

"It’s not just the end of an era, but the beginning of a legacy that will forever remain etched in the hearts of their fans," Sauti Sol wrote on Twitter.
Tickets for the once-in-a-lifetime experience are premium, with the VIP tickets costing a whopping KSh 20,000, while the regular tickets are priced at KSh 6,500.
VIP fans will be able to enjoy the full Sauti Sol experience, including an up-close and personal performance, a five-star banquet complete with complimentary drinks, and limited-edition Sauti Sol merchandise.
The tickets are limited and are expected to sell out fast.
After the announcement from Sauti Sol, fans took to Twitter to oppose the KSh 20,000 for VIP tickets noting that the price was exorbitant.
Bensoul's message to fans complaining about KSh 20k
A former signee of Sol Generation Bensoul took to Twitter to tell off the fans criticising the KSh 20,000 payment for VIP.
He subtly told those complaining that they were not the target audience.
The singer told the fans that if getting KSh 20,000 was a task, then they had a long way to go.
He wrote;
"If KSh 20,000 to get by November is hard for you, then you have a long way to go. Let those who have money to attend the concert. One thing I know is that we are going to sell out."
Boyz II Men VVIP tickets
SolFest VIP ticket prices almost match that of the Boyz II Men concert that saw Kenyans spark a debate on the value of the tickets.
The excitement for an up-and-close performance saw the VVIP tickets fly off the shelf in record time.
