He noted while he was driving, he noticed that the cover of his fuel tank was missing. He wondered how someone could have been so fast and daring to steal from his car in broad daylight.
Without mincing his words, Kipkorir subtly pointed an accusing finger at a politician. He claimed that one of the MPs must have turned into a street thief and made away with his fuel cap.
He wrote:
"Whilst driving along Uhuru Highway adjacent to Parliament Buildings before joining Express Way, Msa Road, my fuel tank cap was stolen so fast I didn’t see the thief. Though a street-kid may have nicked it, I highly suspect an MP may have turned a street thief!"

The post elicited hilarious comments, and below are some of them:
@OsmanOmayo:
"Don, I now believe the allegations on @HEBabuOwino 's phone being stolen in the house."
Kipkorir responded to the comment stating:
"Sijasema nashuku mjumbe gani! (I haven't mentioned any suspect."
@ElijahMuneneKE:
"Don't make our minds start running. But as they say, ni system ya majambazi (It's a criminal system)."
@EtalePhilip:
"I had wheel caps of all the four tyres removed in the shortest time possible on Kenyatta Ave in some traffic jam. I was alone in the car and the two street boys, carrying very old gunias (sacks) just made away majestically sniffing their filthy thing."
Donald Kipkorir awarded KSh 1.3b
In July 2022, the flashy lawyer was awarded KSh 1,338,011,582 as legal fees for defending the defunct Nairobi City Council in a case against the Ministry of Defence.
The Environment and Land Court ruled that Kipkorir should be paid the money for representing the defunct city council in the case that was in court for many years.
"I, Diana Orago, deputy registrar of the Environment and Land Court at Nairobi, do hereby certify that the advocate/client bill costs dated October 1, 2020, lodged by KTK Advocates for the applicant, in this case, was taxed on May 10, 2022, as between advocate and client costs and allowed as against the respondent in the sum of KSh 1.388 billion," read a document.
The historical figures roused public interest, with many expressing dissatisfaction at the legal fees.
