The incident dates back to 2022 when Omundu and his former colleague Morrison Litiema faced a job loss due to allegations of theft from their employer.
However, Omundu later openly apologised to Jalang'o and regretted his actions.

Sources have confirmed that Omundu has returned to his role and has been diligently reporting to work at Jalang'o's residence.
"He has returned to work. We have been seeing him in Jalang'o's compound in the recent past," the source said.
It's worth noting that while Omundu was given a chance to redeem himself, his former colleague Litiema did not share the same fate.
Recently, Omundu was spotted spending time with Jalang'o at the latter's city restaurant, Wapek.
Omundu claims jealous villagers used charms on them
In a past interview, Omundu narrated how they made away with KSh 1 million from Jalang'o's car.
He divulged that Morrison Litiema discovered the money in Jalang'o's BMW car as he was washing it.
"Litiema was washing BMW and I was washing Discovery. Then he came to me and told me that he had found KSh 1 million inside the car but I told him not to touch the boss's money," he said.
Omundu said not all people were happy for them, and they might have used charms on them.
"It is a mysterious force because I have never stolen even a single cent in my whole life. The devil entered into us and we don't know how he managed," he said.
