The American said he had to quit his job as a software engineer to pursue his goal of tracking down his children.

When does Canadian Thanksgiving happen?

He embarked on an over 14,000-kilometre road trip as he visited his children in different parts.

According to the Wall Street Journal, a family sent a letter to Stone-Miller, which immediately struck his emotions.

"I hope you don’t feel violated in any way, but it’s Canadian Thanksgiving, and I wanted to tell you how grateful my family is to you," the letter, which had the photos of two gorgeous girls he fathered, read.

The Canadian Thanksgiving is an annual event that takes place on the second Monday of October.

He instantly connected with six-year-old Harper and her younger sister Harlow, noticing how the former had his blue eyes and the sister's blonde locks.

Facebook group with bank ID

He was also added to a Facebook group named after his bank ID that helped him to connect with the parents he had helped in the past.

Stone-Miller also had a spreadsheet where he logged his children's names, ages, birthdays, and details he learned when meeting them.

While some parents were open to him visiting them and reconnecting with his children, others blocked him.

However, to those who opened their houses for him, he always encountered emotional moments with the children he fathered.

"It was hard to look my biological daughter in the eye and tell her I wasn’t her dad," he said.

Donor retires

In another story, a serial spermdonor retired after fathering 65 kids.

Kyle Gordy decided to stop donating, except for a select few, after fathering at least 65 children worldwide.

According to the New York Post, Gordy said his motivation to quit was to find his missing rib and establish a meaningful relationship.

He sought a partner who would appreciate him for who he was; his previous relationship ended because his partner couldn't tolerate his ongoing donations.
