In a heartwarming note, he urged Kenyans to fundraise to buy land in Machakos for the woman and help her build a decent home for her and the orphans.
He said:
"I received numerous phone calls from this amazing mother and she kept requesting me to go say hello to her 35 orphaned children. She told me she runs a children's home."
The funnyman added:
"I got there and found these 35 children in a room with two beds. They all squeeze, fit and sleep in those two beds, 35 of them. I told her jokingly this was not a children's home."

Eric Omondi mourns baby he rescued
On Monday, August 14, it was a sad day for the comedian as Baby Pyden, who had a cancerous growth, died.
The little boy had a tumour in his jaw and was in constant pain.
Omondi had rallied Kenyans to contribute money and get better treatment for him, and on the first day, they raised KSh 600,000 within hours.
"We did our part; we gave our all; you contributed, and we moved the baby from one hospital to a better facility; we prayed for him; he was a fighter," said Omondi.
Adding:
"When I was called and informed we lost Pyden, a part of me felt very sad, but still a part of me felt peace because Pyden was in a lot of pain; he was writhing in pain from morning to evening, day after day. Every time I saw Pyden, he was crying, and that kind of pain is too much for a baby."
