Nairobi - A video showed the exciting moment that Kenyan women heading to Lebanon for work ran into President William Ruto during his impromptu visit to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The president visited the international airport in the company of Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua and officials from the Kenya Aiport Authority.
A hilarious clip shared on social media showed the moment that Ruto met the group of women who were about to fly out of the country to the Middle East.
Ruto's interaction with Kenyan women at JKIA
The women were delighted as Ruto agreed to join them for the photo-op session. Chants of 'hustler' dominated the session as the ladies crossed paths with the head of state.

"Mnaenda wapi( Where are you going)" he asked them as he joined them for a photo session.
"Tunaenda Lebanon (We are going to Lebanon)," they responded while giggling.
"Kufanya nini ( To do what)?" Ruto asked them.
They responded they were moving to Lebanon for work.
"So that we pay taxes," one woman told him as he burst into laughter.
Ruto's impromptu visit to JKIA
The head of state visited the airport on Monday, August 22, in the company of CS Mutua and Kenya Airport Authority officials, among other officials.
Ruto inspected how services were being delivered at the Embakasi-based airport and interacted with staffers and travellers during the visit.
He went around the premises inspecting the airport together with the officials.
Excited Kenyans were seen warmly interacting with the president during the unplanned visit. Ruto also greeted the travellers at the waiting bay.
Ruto dons Maasai traditional regalia
In other news, Ruto excited Kenyans after he donned the Maasai traditional regalia after attending the Maa Cultural Festival in Narok county.
The president hung out with Governor Joseph Ole Lenku, who welcomed him into the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
During his tour in Narok, the president enjoyed a game drive with other leaders at the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
